We’re upset, very upset: Italian aftermarket specialist has officially released its replica of the Abarth 500 racecar, but the Carmageddon-inspired rear wing we were so enthusiastic about didn’t make it to the street.
Dubbed Abarth Cinquone Stradale, the pocket rocket manages to squeeze 300 hp out of its tiny 1.4-liter turbocharged engine.
The aforementioned wing might not have made it, but rest of the car’s visual elements are just as loud. We are dealing with a widebody kit, a modified hood with huge air vents that seem to be coming straight from Need for Speed, a rear diffuser that accommodates centrally-mounted exhaust tips and... a discreet rear spoiler.
The interior comes with motorsport-inspired goodies, such as a roll cage and a pair of bucket seats, also receiving carbon fiber trimming, as well as leather and Alcantara finishes.
