If he’s not driving a bread delivery truck in Warburtons’ advert, Sylvester Stallone will most likely be seen in one of his luxury SUVs riding the celebrity lanes in Los Angeles like a boss. Sorry, did we say boss? No, we meant like a boxing champ he never was, but everybody associates his name with. As we recall, The Expendables actor is quite fond of that green Mercedes-Benz G63 nowadays, but there was a time when American convertibles were his favorite.
This unique built 1968 Corvette custom roadster was part of the Sylvester Stallone Collection. Sly bought the beauty in 2009 at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas for a "mere" $198,000 (EUR175,000 at the current exchange rate). Two years later the current owner purchased it from him and now the time has come for a new petrolhead to take Rocky’s driving seat once again.

There are more than a couple of enhancements that make this pure American classic stand out, besides the celebrity factor of course. But we’ll only mention the 660 horsepower engine, the Arizona Speed and Marine fuel injection, and the Donovan aluminum big block.

Back to the celebrity issue for a second now. For the Rocky maniacs out there, Taggart Autosport, the dealership taking care of the sale, made sure the proper memorabilia is also included. So the package comprises an autographed picture showing Sly driving this car as well as the previous title signed by Stallone.

The 2-door read beauty is priced at $129,000 (EUR113 at the current exchange rate) which clearly is less than what the legendary actor paid for it initially, so in terms of car collectors you’d call this deal a bargain.

Don’t forget to check out the photo gallery if you want to get the Rocky feeling.
