Best known as the lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison, Bret Michaels is the new celebrity to apear in several commercials for Nissan. Fans can see the rock star visiting some of the company’s main testing areas, while talking about what the new commercial vans can endure. The series of ads culminate with the artist performing a cover of “Endless Love” hit.
Rock on and drive safe for about 100,000 miles or 5 years, which is how long Nissan’s new “America’s Best Commercial Van Warranty” will last, according to the company. And Poison’s lead singer and super famous rock artist Bret Michaels is there to tell why these vans are so precious.

In the new commercial series, the 51-year old musician visits by turn several of the testing areas, where the commercial vans endure extreme conditions. Among those, he talks avout the Frame Twister - where every Nissan commercial van has its suspension pushed to the limit, the Heat Chamber - where the cars endure 140-degree heat and 96% humidity and Shaker Machine - which recreates bad road conditions.

However, the peak of Nissan’s new ads are by far the moment when Bret Michaels starts singing the famous Endless Love song. Producers thought it would be nice to suggest that the rocker is playing the song for the car itself, and not for another woman, so folks can witness Michaels looking the van into its windows and smoothly saying the words. Doesn’t really sound like a hard rock song, but I guess it will be enough for any enthusiast out there.
