Bet you never thought about that until now, but you should know there are plenty drivers out there suffering from heart conditions that choose to travel by car alone. Unfortunately, some might suffer a heart attack behind the wheel, and that could lead to disaster pretty quickly.

The rider in the video below had the opportunity to witness such an unfortunate event and got it all on camera. He was riding his bike on the highway when he saw some cars up ahead going slower than usual and having their hazard lights on.

He approached them and soon discovered that another car way ahead was swerving left and right, occasionally hitting the barriers .The rider got near it and tried to signal the driver to pull over before he hurts someone. Little did he know the driver was having enough troubles of his own.

Despite the rider’s efforts, the car continued to swerve around, leaving the road and coming back. At one point, it hit a huge light post, and, despite putting it down, it kept on going.

After a while, the car went off-road again, this time getting trapped in some softer soil. The rider pulled over and went straight to the driver asking him if he was OK. He took the keys to stop him from fleeing while other people pulled over to help.

An ambulance came shortly after and took the man to the hospital. According to the video’s description, he is OK now, being at home and recovering. As with the rider, kudos for him for stopping to help a fellow motorist.
