If extra width for your R230 SL is what you’re looking for, you can be sure you’ll find it with the Sidewinder package. That’s because the body kit makes the car 10 inches (25.4 cm) wider than the already beefy SL65 AMG Black Series. It’s even one inch (2.54 cm) wider than a Lamborghini Murcielago.

The kit includes a restyled hood with air vents, front fascia, more muscular front and rear fenders, side skirts, rear quarter panels, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser, as well as wheel well liners. The parts are made using an aerospace-borrowed fabrication process. This involves vacuum-packed FRP cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin.

In addition to that, there are also carbon fiber parts, such as the air intakes of the bumpers, the front lip spoiler, the side skirt air vents and the rear wing. The R230 SL was also gifted with a set of Renown RX10-C wheels that come in a 20x10.5-inch size up front and in a 20x13-inch size at the back.

The tuner also offers a Lifetime Renown Protection Plan which allows customers to replace any damaged part for half its MSRP.
