Renault Twizy - Eiffel Tower Promo [Video]

After having presented the Twizy in the US, in New York, Renault decided that it also needed more attention on its home market, and thus made this promotional video which features a multitude of Twizys all driving through Paris, towards the Eiffel tower to get charged up.

The Eiffel tower is of course the most representative of French (and Parisian) landmarks and it was it or the Louvre probably fighting out for ‘supremacy’ in the minds of the people who wrote and shot this ad. Anyway, as good as they looked in New York, the Twizys look even better in Paris and do genuinely fit in with the (French) surroundings. To round off the distinctive French theme, the song chosen to run in the background of the ad is an excellent 80s-style progressive house track which suits the style of the ad perfectly.

Renault is a French manufacturer, and this is very evident in the style of cars that they make. Nobody could have pulled off a car like the Twizy better than they have and this ad clearly shines a light on the philosophy behind the car.
