Renault Reveals 2014 Megane Facelift Lineup: Hatch, Coupe, RS and Sport Tourer [Photo Gallery]
From what we gather, the changes only influence the front end of the compact. There, the Megane Hatchback, Sport Tourer and Coupé all receive new elliptical headlights. The bonnet, bumper and grille have all been changed and now mirror the look of the Fluence sedan.
A larger Renault badge has been created for the car and it sits a bit lower, in between a wide V-shaped bar, also hinting at the Clio's design.
The new-look Megane is going to be available in all the body styles starting in the first quarter of next year. More details are to come, as Renault's Frankfurt stand opens its doors next week.
Of course, changes to the engine lineup will also be made. The GT line models could benefit from the new 120 hp 1.2-liter turbo with double-clutch gearbox that was launched with the Clio GT. But honestly, we're rather disappointed that Renault chose to make another facelift for a car that in 2014 will be six years old.
