French automaker Renault has announced UK pricing information and specifications for its new Clio GT-Line. Available for £17,395 starting July, with first customer deliveries to commence in September, the new GT-Line trim will sit between the standard Clio and the RS 200 Turbo EDC version.
Fitted with with new features and unique styling cues, the new variant of the Clio is also the first to be offered with the all-new turbocharged 1.2-liter TCe engine and Efficient Dual Clutch transmission. Standard equipment includes Sport Chassis with stiffer dampers, RS Drive with two driving modes (Normal & Sport), 17-inch alloy wheels, rear lip spoiler, side sills, rear diffuser, and front and rear bumpers with F1-style blade.
Inside, the Clio GT-Line gains sports seats, leather steering wheel, gearshift paddles, Tom Tom Live satellite navigation, R-Link seven-inch touchscreen multimedia system, GT badging and many more.
The new 120 HP engine provides 190 Nm of torque, a top speed of 121 mph and a 0 to 62 mph acceleration of 9.9 seconds. Estimated fuel economy is rated at 54.3 mpg on the combined cycle, while CO2 emissions are said to be of only 120g/km. The Clio GT-LIne can be had in five colors, including Malta Blue, metallic Flame Red, Diamond Black, Mercury and white.
