The recall only affects the Accord and Civic model year 2001, according to a notification published on the official website of the National HIghway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). "Honda is recalling model year 2001 Civic and Accord vehicles," it is mentioned in the advisory. "The driver's airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure.
