Most tuning fans might not know about a garage located on Sunset Boulevard called RDB LA. While there are a lot of people out there wanting more notability from their M5s and a lot of tuning firms ready to deliver just that, the owner of this particular F10-gen M5 went to the aforementioned for that extra specialness and the end result is bewitching.
On an average day, a factory-spec BMW M5 F10 is able to offer no less than 560 Bavarian ponies to its rear wheels. But this car is different. After a little bit of chip tuning, RPI scoops for better engine breathing and a set of custom downpipes, the German super sedan is now churning out some 660 horsepower from its 4.4-liter V8 aided by M TwinPower Turbo technology. But grunt alone isn't too much to boast about, isn't it?
That's why a set of H&R springs are also on the menu, helping keep those brushed copper 21-inch Zitto rollers in check. Although they're 2 inches larger than the standard rims, these alloys look at home on the M5, giving a more track-focused look to the car, not the mundane bling that would spoil a uber sedan. In terms of visual drama, the owner was sensible and didn't go gung-ho with everything RDB has in store.
That dazzling light teal blue exterior hue is all custom and it sets this M5 apart from the other finished in way more pedestrian blue, black or silver. The roof may be made out of carbon fiber, but it was painted black on this occasion to blend in nicely with the blacked out mirrors and other bits and bobs which were previously finished in shiny polished chrome.
Last but not least, a carbon fiber diffuser and 3D-effect trunk spoiler, side skirt extensions and front lip give this teal M5 a muscular persona, telling the guy next to you at the lights that this M5 means business.
