Rare James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Goes Up for Sale
This specific 1965 Aston Martin DB5 never made it on screen in the hands of Sean Connery, but is quite a sought after vehicle, since it's the only remaining car to contain all of the James Bond gadgets featured in the movie.
Used as the official promotional vehicle for some of the six films that featured the DB5, this Aston Martin is quite pricey too. RS Williams is asking no less than $4.7 million for it, but bear in mind that we're talking about an Aston Martin with front-mounted machine guns, revolving number plates, and a bullet-proof rear screen!
To prevent the buyer, if there will be one, from accidentally shooting his neighbour or blowing up a car at a red light, the seller is also supplying a 21-page brochure containing a list of gadgets and how each of them is activated.
The last 007 Aston Martin DB5 sold, which was driven by Sean Connery in both Goldfinger and Thunderball, fetched a remarkable $4.1 million in a 2010 RM Auctions event.
