Land Rover is owned by Tata, so it comes as no surprise to us that the brand new Range Rover Evoque was brought over to the sub-continent on such short notice. The brand new crossover was launched today in India in both five-door and three-door versions, being offered at 56.91 lakh on the road in Mumbai, which is a whopping €84,224 at the current exchange rate.
The three-door version of the Evoque can only be purchased in its range topping Dynamic trim level and fitted with the 240 hp 2.0-liter gasoline engine. As for the five-door, that will be sold in all three trim levels, Pure, Prestige and Dynamic, and with the 2.2-liter 190 hp turbodiesel.

Standard features on all Evoques will come to include Terrain Response, a fixed panoramic glass roof, Xenon headlamps, 17-inch wheels, keyless start, climate control, electric adjust front seats in leather, 8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming and an 11-speaker Meridian audio system.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
