Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition

Range Rover just keeps increasing the ‘bling” factor of its Range Rover, with the company now introducing the “creme de la creme” version of the SUV, which uses the Autobiography Ultimate Edition designation and will make its public debut at the Geneva Auto Show.

Only 500 mortals will be able to enjoy the bespoke vehicle, which will be offered on 20 markets. Each unit of the car will be tailor-made to suit the owner’s needs, comign with a price of arounf GBP130,000 ($209,000 or EUR153,000).

Most of the new premium goodies can be found in the interior, where we have a four-seat layout (the individual rear seats are electric-powered), an extended center console, a machined aluminium laptop table and drinks chiller, and two Apple iPads* as standard.

Now that we’ve seen what qualifies the car as a chauffeur vehicle, we also have to mention that the cabin is finished with high-end leather, uses Kalahari wood veneers, while the luggage compartment comes with a yach-inspired floor with metal and leather detailing.

Land Rover offers two new unique exterior colors, Roussillon Red or Otago Stone and fits the vehicle with special 20-inch multi-spoke alloy rims. As for the engine range, this includes a 4.4-liter diesel V8 that delivers 313 hp and a 5.0 liter supercharged petrol V8 unit, which allows the driver to use 510 hp.

autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
