Scandinavia might be all about the kind of rallying that makes viewers ride the cringing roller coaster, but that part of the world also has a huge fetish for classic US metal.
While we've discussed their Raggare culture in the past, we are here for a different reason, namely to show you a C1 Corvette that's turning tons of heads over in Finland.

We're dealing with a 1959 Chevy that has seen its 350 getting some aftermarket attention. The V8 unit has been gifted with a 383 stroker kit, with the engine now allowing the owner and his SO to fully enjoy the muscle under the hood.

However, judging by the braking system seen here, which packs modestly-sized front rotors and drum brakes for the rear axle, the owner hasn't gone too far down the restomod road.

The 'Vette originally came with a two-tone Silver paint scheme, but its driver recently decided to give it a Green-Yellow wrap, which is described as having a rally theme - given the rallying theme mentioned in the intro, we'll take this one as it is.

However, the colors seem to be inspired from the mix used by the Green Bay packers, so we're guessing the guy behind the wheel of this Corvette is a big football fan.

The C1 was present at a recent event called Helsinki Cruising Night, taking Finland's capital city by storm. With the mix between the looks of this car and its soundtrack delivering an intoxicating experience, it's no wonder the car was one of the audience's favorite beasts.

The piece of footage below allows us to get a pretty good taste of this Corvette. Oh, and the video also shows the retro legend before the wrap, so you can easily compare the two states of the machine and choose your favorite one.
