RAF Red Arrows Support Jaguar XE Launch Event

Even though normal saloons are rarely described as being thrilling or exciting, Jaguar has been know for doing things a little bit differently than all of its competitors. After the stunning-looking F-Type Coupe, the British company is now planning the launch of the XE. Nobody has driven it or seen what it looks like yet, but if Jaguar is to be believed, this is the greatest thing since double decker busses, Big Ben and The Beatles.

The official launch will be held on the 8th of September at two special events in London, where only the XE S performance model will be shown. We knew that already, but the news of the day is that its supercharged V6 sound might be accompanies by that of a full formation of jets.

The famous Royal Air Force Red Arrows are going to put on a great show that's sure to fill everyone's hearts with national pride. They're a display group formed by the most skilled airman in the country, who train countless hours to perform perfectly coordinated aerobatic maneuvers.

Jaguar's press statement does not officially confirm the involvement of the red arrows in the XE's debut. But it does say the airman are "supporting" the car's journey from Jaguar Land Rover facilities to the capital. God Save the Queen!

The world premier of the XE S will be an event narrated by actor John Hannah and with performances from Emile Sande, The Kaiser Chiefs and Eliza Doolittle. The hotly anticipated new Jaguar model will ride an an all-new platform and be powered by the latest "Ingenium" engines, developed and built exclusively in Britain.
