We like Geiger's work on American pony and muscle cars, especially since the mods come from a German tuning shop and not an American one, as you'd expect.
But after we got to see this Chevy Corvette Z06 being imbued by the Germans, we began to love the tuning company's way of dealing with performance models.

Last time we heard from GeigerCars, the folks laid their hands on a Euro-spec Ford Mustang GT Fastback, which they converted into a fuel-thirsty 709-horsepower enraged pony.

This time, their attention was focused on the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The car is already packed with horsepower, as, in standard spec, it delivers no less than 659 horsepower and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft).

But for sure, factory setting will simply not to the job. So GeigerCars came up with an upgrade that raises the number of ponies to 730 while max torque also gets a hike to a bone-crushing 944 Nm (697 lb-ft).

Sadly, we don't get to know performance details about the tuned Z06, but since in standard-spec configuration, it can blast from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.95 seconds - when equipped with an auto transmission, we expect a slight improvement for Geiger's work of art.

The Germans also wanted to boost aerodynamics, so the Corvette Z06 was fitted with a front spoiler with side flaps, an under-bumper tray plus new side skirts along with other parts. You can have that for €9,900, or $11,047 at current exchange rates.

Couple that with the rear spoiler and diffuser, throw a sport exhaust system with valve control (priced at €4,900 or $5,467 at current exchange rates) into the mix and you get what we call a complete tuning job. And also expensive.

The interior looks untouched, but the amenities inside the factory Corvette Z06 are enough for those looking for the thrills on the race track. Speaking of which, this Corvette Z06 is sitting on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 track day rubber that basically begs to the shredded on any given circuit.
