You've probably seen your fair share of street races and if there’s one thing we can be certain of, this has to do with never believing you’ve seen them all. For one thing, we didn’t expect to see a powerboat battling it out with a Toyota Supra and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.
This is exactly what happens in the video below, which sees the trio going street racing. In fact, since the boat is involved, we’re not even sure how to call this water vs. land fight.
Sure, those of you who have badass grandparents with racing backgrounds might find out the idea is not new, but this doesn’t make it less exciting.
No specs were offered for the vehicles involved, but judging by the quarter mile speed of the Evo, the cars appear to be in stock condition - the rally-bred Lancer hits 115 mph at the 1/4-mile mark.
In fact, you can see the Evo, which belongs to the 2015 model year, devouring the Supra, a 1994 model, even when the Toyota gets the head start. The trio pulled multiple runs, seizing the opportunity of having brought all three machines together without any law enforcement in the area.
Not only does this race bring us a battle between land and water machines, but it also allows us to see what a stock Supra can do - we bet there are many people out there who didn’t believe factory-trim Supra still exist.
The video allows us to get a complete view of the races, with drone footage being included on the menu.

Time to talk about the boat
We are dealing with a 2004 Hydrostream Venom in the clip below. We’re no boat specialists, but the mix between a hydrostream hull and a Mercury 2.5 outboard engine, which can deliver up to 300 horses, sounds like a good one.Not only does this race bring us a battle between land and water machines, but it also allows us to see what a stock Supra can do - we bet there are many people out there who didn’t believe factory-trim Supra still exist.
