Funny twist when it comes to the portability factor of a motorcycle, as all these vehicles are kind of... portable, in a way. However, this video shows a truly interesting machine which apparently is easy to tear down and which then fits in two large bags.
Looking closely at the bike, assembling it doesn't seem to require extensive mechanical skills, though I doubt that Sunday riders who can barely tell which way a screw tightens or loosens will be up to the task. In fact, they would most likely not be interested in such a bike, altogether.
The vehicle seems very simple and almost primitive, but since it looks like it's DIY project, it would only be nice of us all to skip that.
While tech specs are completely missing, we'll assume this all-terrain bike is powered by what appears to be a scooter engine. The final drive changed to chain instead of a belt makes sure the bike can handle abuse better.
Finally, the beefy tires ensure better passability over mud-covered terrain and could make a huge difference when riding on truly unwelcoming land. Not sure how will they handle stumps and other obstacles, as they don't seem exactly thick and could be easily punctured. Awesome project, anyway!
Thanks Andrei DRC for the tip.
