Porsche Planning Limited-Edition Panamera

Even though Porsche has essentially revamped its entire lineup over the last year or so, the automaker has no plans to slow down. Automobile Magazine is reporting that the automaker plans on using its bespoke Porsche Exclusive line to introduce a special, limited-edition version of the Porsche Panamera at the Paris Motor Show, which is less than two weeks away.

Aside from the existence of this new model from an unnamed source, there are few additional details on the car except that it will be limited to just 100 units globally and just 30 units will be planned for U.S. buyers. In all likelihood, this exclusive model would be based on the current range-topping Panamera, the Panamera Turbo S Executive (shown above).

Building on this existing model, the new limited-edition Panamera is expected to come fully loaded with all available options in addition to distinctive cues such as a unique metallic paint job and multi-colored leather interior. As such, the special Panamera will almost certainly have a starting price of at least $250,000 considering the Panamera Turbo S Executive already starts at almost $202,000.

The good news is that the Porsche Panamera Turbo S Executive combines performance and luxury. Under the hood, this car is powered by a 4.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 producing 570 hp and up to 590 lb-ft of torque helping the Turbo S accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 192 mph. On top of that, the long-wheelbase Executive models deliver an additional 5.9 inches of rear legroom compared to a standard Panamera.

The name of such a car was not revealed, but we don’t have much longer to wait as the Paris auto show kicks off on October 2nd.
