Porsche Panamera Is Born from Fire and Ice

When Porsche started making these mass market monsters that we call the Cayenne and Panamera, everybody thought they were out of their minds. Brand dilution for the sake of having more models to sell seemed like a bad idea and some even prophecized the end for the Stuttgart horse.
But of course the exact opposite has actually happened and that’s because the Germans have proved they can put a sportscar in the body of an SUV or a four-door coupe / executive sedan. It’s a contradiction of ideas that Porsche say is beautiful, and they created this metaphorical short film to prove as to why that is.

“Fire and Ice” shows a man making an ice sculpture rise up out of the fire of his torch, a seemingly impossible task that’s made all the more beautiful by the contradiction.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
