Porsche Museum Shop Expands Product Range
The new range includes black polo shirts and white t-shirts bearing the Museum logo, and color-matching caps, while the women’s line features lilac and pink t-shirts with the “I too prefer Porsche” print, inspired from the advertising poster that was used a part of a campaign for the Porsche 356 B in the 60s.
A men’s sports shirt from the Porsche 356 era has also been added to the new range. The “356 Workshop Shirt” is printed with the Porsche typeface from the 50s, fitted with a pocket that does not have a button, to allow something like the technical specifications “Models – Dimensions - Tolerances”, an aid for mechanics in the 50s, to be easily stored.
The in-house publishing range was also expanded. Porsche has already produced its own DVD and two book titles. The “The Porsche Way” DVD, available in German and English, presents the entire history of the sports car manufacturer in two and a half hours.
Previously unpublished photos and documents from the company’s archives are now available through the books “Die Autos” (“The Cars”) and “Ferdinand Porsche und der Volkswagen” (“Ferdinand Porsche and the Volkswagen”).
Additional to small items like key rings, buttons, posters and postcards, miniature vehicle models are also available, including the “Nummer 1”, the 1948 Porsche 356 and the 911 2.0 Coupé from 1964 in 1:18 scale.
The shop, which is located in the foyer of the Porsche Museum, can be accessed free of charge.
