When you mention Hamann tuned cars, many people think of BMW. The 6 Series packages made by this German firm are distinctive and pack a lot of power too. However, Mercedes and even Porsche models have been targeted by them in the past. Today, we're showing you what can be done with a Macan SUV, the baby model of Stuttgart's 4x4 range.
Having made its debut in 2014, the Macan is more stylish than the Audi Q5 or BMW X3. However, it won't turn heads like a Ferrari, and that's a problem for the customers, some of whom pay €100,000 for the ownership privilege.

Hamann can fix that with a tuning pack that features a very familiar set of components. The idea here is to turn an SUV into something that looks a little bit like a sportscar. To do that, they installed much wider fender flares and a sporty set of bumpers.

However, that's easier said than done. Because the Macan is smaller than the Cayenne, all its features are closer together. So each flared wing is split into three pieces, covering the bumpers, wings and doors.

The front bumper is also pretty interesting because it features a hint of 918 Spyder magic. But our favorite component is the wing mounted right below the tailgate wiper. It's bright orange and has its mounting point in the middle. That and the fact that you don't normally see a wing there make it stick out like a sore thumb.

Hamann also chose to give the Macan a chromatic makeover and chose the famous Gulf Racing colors. Every Porsche fan knows what the cyan and orange combination stands for. The Germans went crazy with the graphics, and you may notice even the taillights have been painted.

As finishing touches, massive 22-inch alloy wheels with black spokes draw attention to the fact that the windows and even the headlights have been tinted. A 4-tip exhaust system is also available, while the V6 diesel of the Macan S Diesel model can be tuned from 258 to 300 PS with the help of an ECU remap. When the output numbers go up, the seconds go down, to just 5.7s in this case.
