Drivers that have already enjoyed the popular Porsche Cayenne SUV, but wished for something more compact or cheap, will most likely be thrilled about the new Porsche Macan and its Australian release in June 2014.
The brand new mid-size SUV is expected to replace its bigger version, the Cayenne and become the company’s best-selling car ever. That is, when deliveries start. Until then, prices are being released and today we learned what it will cost in Australia.

In case you were wondering about the price, locally, the car will be available starting from AUD 84,900. This means this particular vehicle will come to be the company’s only Porsche that can be purchased at a price lower than AUD 100,000.

AUD 84,900 gets you the base model Macan Diesel, equipped with a 3-liter V6. Furthermore, the Porsche Macan range features another two models, the AUD87,200 twin-turbo V6 S and the AUD 122,900 Turbo. All engine choices are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK auto transmission with paddleshifters that sends power to all four wheels.

Moreover, drivers will notice that the entire range incorporates a high-performance audio system as well as an electrically operated tailgate. Therefore, this more affordable luxury model will certainly attract the attention of Australian drivers when it will be released.
