Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK Race Taxi Means Business on Hockenheimring

While the Blue Oval manic hatch has become an actual taxi, which takes people from A to B, Zuffenhausen's track special has been turned into a race taxi on the Hockenheimring.

The piece of footage below shows the Rennsport Neunelfer doing its passenger-serving job during a ZF event on the German track. And the match shouldn't come as a surprise, since the two German companies have been partners for years, with ZF supplying the Porsche 911's rear-wheel steering, for instance (found on the GT3, GT3 RS, Turbo, Turbo S and now on the 991.2 Carrera S, albeit as an option).

This GT3 RS comes with a two-tone wrap, which is mixed Army Green, being used for most of the car's body, with Mate Black, being featured on the hood, roof, engine lid and rear wing.

For the record, the car's base colors seems to be GT Silver Metallic, one of this 911's only two standard colors. And given the paint protection requirements, such a job requires, the wrap was only normal.

To the best of our knowledge, this is the third 991-generation GT3 RS being used as a taxi that takes customers from one vibrator to another. The other two are run by the same company, with one doing its thing on the Nurburgring (where else?), while the other serves Spa-Francorchamps tourists.

While allowing more enthusiasts to share the naturally aspirated joys of such a rear-engined Zuffenhausen machine may be a noble purpose, we're pretty certain those who were in the market for a GT3 RS and couldn't find one aren't thrilled by such episodes.
