If you're here for the GT3 RS PDK part of the title, chances are you're lusting for one, but, for financial or limited availability reasons, you couldn't get your hands on one.
With these track-savvy machines selling for well above their $175,900 (consider this an understatement) and Zuffenhausen's GT division only bringing about 2,000 units to the world per year, it's understandable.
However, you have better chances of grabbing a Rennsport Neunelfer that can sit on your desk. Yes, we're talking about a scale model and we're here yo give you a shining example of that.
The 1:18 scale model in the image above manages to act as a piece of eye candy and there are multiple reasons for that (hat tip to Sebastian T Photography for the pic).
GT3 RS widebody aside, this more-than-a-toy comes dressed in Birch Green - the Paint To Sample color coming via Porsche Exclusive, which certain people confuse for Porsche's Acid Green - as far as we know, you can't have your 911 dressed in Acid Green.
Come to think of it, the spectacular shade on this scale model only comes to mirror the color war going on between owners of actual GT3 RS models - from wicked factory hues like Rubystone Red, to insane World War II-themed wraps, the battle is overly fierce.
If this still isn't... active enough to float your boat, we'll remind you Porsche and LEGO have joined hands, turning the 991 GT3 RS into the halo model of the current LEGO Technic collection.
Packing 2,704 pieces and being ready to adorn your home for a less than shy $299, the plastic-fantastic RS will take around six hours to build. There's just one problem though and this has to do with the machine's out of stock status. Sure, you'll still be able to order one, but this means you'll have to wait around 30 days for the package to be delivered...
