Automotive enthusiasts’ nights are filled with dreams about sitting behind the wheel of a race car that is travelling on the road, with the vehicle becoming an extension of your body, following your every move with razor sharp precision. The same dreams also come during the day, when things can get even more extreme, as this can be used an an escape from reality.
Of course, most race cars are not road-legal, so it’s pretty hard to translate this dream into reality. And then there’s the practicality issue. We know, none of the petrol heads that have the aforementioned desire care about anything else but driving dynamics, but driving a race car daily could tear your body apart after a while.
Fortunately, there’s a solution for this problem. It’s called the Porsche 911 GT3 RS - this is about as close as a “civilian” car can get to a racer.
Owning one of these beasts is an experience that can change your life forever. However, this is not enough for some, who consider that the vehicle could use a few aftermarket touches. This is the case of the vehicle in the adjacent images, which has received a light tuning.
This example of the GT3 RS comes with a wing that makes the standard one, which we bet could be used for transatlantic flight - if turned upside down, look like a toothpick. The vehicle also comes with a front bumper lip that accentuates the racing image, also serving a functional purpose, of course. The car also comes with a racing-isnpired front tow element.
We’ve saved the best for last: the car’s OEM central lock rims have bee ditched and replaced with a set of ADV.1 rims. These use the same type of locking mechanism, come with a multi-spoke design and feature a black matte finish, with a red center, matching the vehicle’s custom exterior.
