The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 has recently been crowned king of the automotive world stopping power, with the supercar managing to set a new braking record.
The 911 GT3 RS 4.0 managed to come to a halt from 300 km/h (186 mph) in just 6.5 seconds, during a testing session held by German magazine Sport Auto at the high speed facility in Papenburg, Northern Germany. Thus, the vehicle managed to beat the Koenigsegg Agera R, which had recently posted a time of 6.66 seconds.
You can see the feat in the adjacent video, where the speedometer falls with an astonishing speed. Before we go, we’ll remind you that the 911 GT3 RS 4.0, a member of the outgoing 997 generation, is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter engine delivering 493 hp, with only 600 units of the car set to be produced.
