Polaris Celebrates 2 Years in India, Brings RZR XP 900
It looks like 2013 is a great year for Polaris, after the successful relaunch of Indian Motorcycles and showing the all-new 3 models at Sturgis. The Indian celebrations are marked by the launch of the RZR XP 900 side-by-side in Hyderabad, south-central India.
Polaris is also planning to expand their Indian operations with both of the the motorcycle brands they own: Indian and Victory. However, as we've mentioned before, these two bike brands will be sold in separate showrooms throughout the country, and Polaris making it clear that they're not trying to "swallow" the two-wheeler manufacturers, but to help them become more present in the markets.
The 2013 Polaris RZR XP 900 is a 2-seater SxS designed to tackle the toughest obstacles and be as fun a recreational vehicle as it it great for work-related tasks. Given its awesome terrainability and generous storage, the XP 900 is a great choice for companies who have to send two workers and a lot of gear into the wilderness.
According to Autocar India, the price is said to be around 245k Indian rupees, which makes for a hefty $38,160 or €28,550. Clearly not the most popular quad, we think.
