There are few things left to say about the i8 that haven’t been already said up until now. The car will write history when it will arrive in dealerships worldwide later this year, at least in BMW’s book.
Even so, we can’t get enough of it and we just love everything about it by now. One of the best things about it though, will be its interior, that will take us and the Bavarians into a completely new era.
Getting bored of the same old look that has been mildly upgraded over the years but kept the same overall design cues and lines, the i8 is a breath of fresh air with layered surfaces, LCD displays and eco-friendly materials.
The seats are upholstered in naturally tanned leather while the dash and door panels used recyclable materials that also look great. At the recent BMW Light Days Workshop, the car was also on display with its night lights turned on and they look absolutely incredible.
Actually we might also be inclined to say that the car looks better at night than during the day, with flowing lights all around the cockpit and the laser lights with the trademark corona rings on the outside. Fortunately, you can check them out in the photo gallery below. Let us know what you think!
