If the Purple Night finish on this cute supermini is familiar, that’s because you’ve already seen it at the Geneva Motor Show in March, as a concept. But now it’s become a production reality for the French carmaker, as Peugeot plans to put the 208 XV edition on display at the Paris Motor Show 2012 ahead of the official launch.

Features exclusive to this car include unique grille, window trim, fog light surrounds, 17-inch diamond-Anthra Mercure multi-spoke wheels and mirror caps.

Inside, the XY is treated to leather trim with stitching in the same color as the body for the seats, steering wheel, gear shifter knob and the middle of the dashboard. AS a nod to exclusivity, you also get aluminum pedals and bespoke carpets.

The engine choices will include a 1.6 e-HDi diesel with with either 92 hp or 115 hp, and mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed auto. The petrol range is made up of the naturally aspirated 1.6 VTi 120 and the more powerful 1.6 THP 155.

autoevolution will be attending the Paris Motor Show 2012, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
