Remember the exclusive two-seat supercar Paris Hilton got as a birthday gift? Well, she decided to switch that one with a white model a couple of months after, because it used to remind her of her ex. It’s the same car she recently posted a picture of on Instagram, quoting it’s one of the reasons she loves L.A.
The supercar went into production in late 2010, with a base price of $375,000, and it features a V10 engine and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer body. Only 500 of them were ever made, as production ended in December 2012. We’re looking at one of the exclusive four-wheelers, the type of ride avid drivers usually love, which is why having Paris Hilton owning one was quite the surprise for some of the people in the auto market. The surprise was even bigger considering buyers were selectively chosen by Lexus.

In the North American market 150 LFAs were initially sold through a two-year lease program much like the Ferrari F50. This was to prevent owners from reselling the vehicle for a profit. Paris Hilton got the car through the same system, which drew quite the public attention at the time.

One of my favorite reasons to be back in LA. Love driving this baby around! Such a fast, sexy fun car!” the celebrity hotel heiress quoted next to the picture of her Lexus LFA. It’s no wonder the socialite loves driving the supercar considering its great performance and style. The exclusive supercar is powered by a 4.8-liter V10 engine equipped with dual VVT-i carrying the 1LR-GUE designation with a maximum output of 552 horsepower.

Not that we don’t love this car, but we’re wondering why Paris loves the Lexus more than her other supercar she recently bought, the brand new McLaren 650S Spider, which has almost 100 hp more.
