Probably the most exciting concept coupe we’ve seen all year was the LF-LC from Lexus. It won numerous awards for its advanced shape, and it our eyes shows Lexus can do more than just follow BMW and Mercedes cues.
Now there’s a new concept in town from the Japanese luxury automaker, and it’s also a very good one. It’s called the LF-CC and is a preview of how their “future D-Segment derivatives” will look like. This means it’s a preview of the rumored coupe version of the GS sedan, but rumor has it the styling at the front is actually showing the IS sedan, which should be launched by 2014.

Underhood, Lexus has slapped an electric motor onto a 2.5-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine to make a production-intend hybrid powertrain. This promises to set new standards in economy and also produce less than 100 grams per km of CO2.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
