To say the Pagani Zonda 760LM Roadster is a rare sight is a massive understatement. So seeing one on the track is something you really don't want to miss.
The owner of this magnificent beast took it out for a spin at Autodromo di Modena, in Italy. The man booked the track for an entire day. Because he wanted to shoot a video of the experience, because he didn't want to have to worry about other cars and, well, because he could afford it.

There was another car out on the circuit, but it was obviously another one of his. Both the Pagani and the Lamborghini Gallardo that is "chasing" it have Andorran plates. We put chasing in quotation marks because the Zonda driver wasn't really trying to leave the Gallardo in his dust.

The 760LM is part of a limited series of models which are the most powerful road-legal Zondas ever built. Its 7.3-liter V12 AMG engine puts out 760 hp. It also sounds absolutely divine. There are very few production cars with an exhaust note this sexy, and it's even sexier in this video because the owner doesn't hold back and revs the engine hard.

It wasn't all fun and games out on the Modena track, though. What's the one thing you fear the most when you're driving an ultra-rare, ultra-expensive roadster? Other than a crash, of course. That's right: rain! At one point it really started to pour and the driver had to rush to the pits to fit the removable hardtop before he ruined the precious interior.

There's no way to know how precious. The car is a one-off. There's no other 760LM Roadster out there. Since you can't touch any 760-spec Zonda for anything less than $1.5 million, we can safely assume that any damage to the interior would have been very costly.

The "LM" in the model name stands for Le Mans, and the car has several elements reminiscent of an LMP1 prototype. Most strikingly the headlights. Fun fact: the guy who owns the 760LM Roadster also has a "regular" 760LM. Because rich people are easily bored.
