The kind of magic the Pagani Huayra BC delivered back in March at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show is still here (partially thanks to the mysterious Huayra BC Nurburgring laps that took place last month), but the time has come to move on and talk about another Huayra derivative, namely the Roadster.
As those of you following our Pagani stories closely know, the open-top incarnation of the Huayra has already been shown to customers during a private presentation. And despite the event having taken place back in late July, we have yet to see the Roadster.
We'll remind you the carmaker used to occasion to inaugurate its new factory. While located close to the the old shop, the factory boosts Pagani's annual production capacity from well under 100 to 300 vehicles.
However, the pair of spy photos we have here (lens tip to Toby155 for the images) show the Huayra Roadster prototype in traffic. And while the test car seen here is still covered in a psychedelic wrap, we can still notice new design that differentiates this from the fixed-roof model.
Apart from the obvious roof area changes, the Roadster sports a new rear deck - we've also added a pair of Huayra Coupe photos, so you can easily spot the differences - check out the rollover protection elements and the more pronounced rear deck elements.
As for what happens under the rear deck, we could see the newcomer delivering a number of tech upgrades, such as those seen on the Tempesta Package, for example.
