EVs like the Nissan Leaf may work for some people, while for others, their shortcomings are simply not tolerable. However, the Leaf fits into this Orlando couple’s life just fine, and, as such, it is used on a daily basis, without having to resort to using their other conventionally-powered car.

Shannon and Christin have also recently had a baby, which has only traveled in an EV, making him one of the first ‘eBabies’. Since they bought it, their Leaf has covered a respectable 24,000 miles (38,400 km), and they have reported no problems with it so far. They even go so far as to say that they have given nothing up to drive and use the Leaf every day, and in fact, for their particular lifestyle, it fits right in.

This video would have had more credibility if wasn’t an official Nissan deal, but even so, the advantages of driving a fully-electric car are undeniable for those who can make due with its limited range - there are no other real downsides for using such a vehicle in town.
