Honestly, we really have no idea why Opel and Buick have been joined at the hip by GM. One is trying to be young the other acts grownup and has recently taken the masters class in Mandarin. Another thing we don't get is why Buick can't bring this car, the Astra OPC, to the US. VW has the Golf R, Ford has the hugely impressive Focus ST and GM… that joke of a Sonic RS?!
Diverting our attention from the ranting and complaining, we bring you a really interesting customization project from a company called Cartecdesign, which is in Mönchengladbach, a small German city where F1 driver Nick Heidfeld comes from. They found a way to make the cool Astra OPC even cooler.

The urban camouflage theme made famous during last year's Gumball 3000 rally is applied, not only on the black body of the car but also inside the cabin and on the wheels. You're not going to lose thins thing in the Ikea car park!

Black, gray, white and neon green – unless you want to hide the Astra in a forest of black trees with neon leaves, this isn't camo, it's a touch of individuality.

Just a quick reminder, the Astra OPC went on sale last year and is the fastest and most powerful Astra ever. Power comes from a 280 hp engine mated to a six-speed manual. It's also a technological tour de force, being fitted with a limited slip diff and and adaptive dampers.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
