Nasty incident on US 35 near New Jasper Station Road on August 17, 2013 as an Ohio State Highway Patrol slammed into a motorcycle.
The two persons on the motorcycle, both from Beavercreek, have been injured in the collision. Amy Waldman, who was the passenger, had to be flown to a nearby hospital, while Corey Waldam, the male rider was transported by ground medic, according to the Ohio State Police.

The accident is under investigation. The footage comes from the police cruiser camera and was officially released by the same law enforcement agency.

If you ask me, there's no need for too much investigation: the trooper is the only one to blame, as he had all the time and space in the universe to avoid the collision.

The bike was traveling at low speed, but with the taillight on, both riders were wearing helmets, and the cruiser seems to take quite a while until the brakes are applied. Seem like the cop was not paying attention or was asleep. Sorry for the two, hope they make it alright.
