Here's the seventh creation rolling out the doors of Old Empire Motorcycles, a Norfolk, UK-based custom workshop which only seems to get better and better at producing amazing bikes.
Named the Bristol Bulldog, in honor of a historic aeroplane the RAF used in the 1920's, the Bulldog won't exactly fly, but it's all about flying colors, as far as creating modding is concerned. The donor bike was a Yamaha Virago 535, not exactly one of the stars of the modding world.
However, Alec of OEM decided to prove that the half-liter Virago can be just as spectacular as any other machine out there. So USD forks replaced the stock ones, with clip-on bars and awesome two-gauge digital instrumentation, relocated foot controls and a completely different rear section.
The subframe was adapted to accommodate the underseat tank, fuel pump and electrics. A Japanese fuel tank replaced the old one, but the two velocity air intakes protrude through it quite boldly.
OEM also came up with custom exhausts with internal baffles, a handmade diamond-stitched leather seat and leather grips, while the silver paint was neatly complemented with metal mesh accents and even a miniature cowl.
Cue some beefy Avon tires and behold how interesting the old Virago 535 can become.
