Despite the Lamborghini Huracan’s young age, the tuning scene has already offered us a few kits for the latest Raging Bull, with these targeting both the aesthetics and the technical area of the supercar. We are now on track to receiving a new aftermarket upgrade for the Italian’s hardware, with British tuner Oakley Design working on this.
So far, we’ve only received some sort of a teaser, as Oakley published a photo of a Huracan strapped to a dyno on their Facebook page. Moreover, the footage below shows the V10 monster stretching its customized legs on the dyno.
While it wouldn’t be all that strange to see Oakley Design slap twin turbos to the Huracan’s V10, the video doesn’t bring any clue on this. In fact, the soundtrack is as naturally-aspirated as possible.
Thus, we expect the Oakely Design Huracan to feature custom intake and exhaust manifolds. For those wondering, these can make quite a difference - we’ll remind you that, for instance, the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Audi R8 shared the same 5.2-liter V10, with the 50 hp difference being brought by bespoke intake and exhaust, as well as the obvious ECU map changes.
The Huracan has taken that V10 from 570 hp, the most the Gallardo made out of it, to 610 hp, so we could expect over 650 naturally aspirated horses from Oakley Design. Until the tuning houses decides to let more info slip, you can feast your eyes ears on the clip below.
