Nurburgring Driver Almost Crashes His Friend's LaFerrari, Owner Riding Shotgun

In our book, owning a cool car isn't worth a dime if the driver is going to treat his ride like it was made of glass and turn every stone chip into a life-threatening drama. Then again, being too relaxed behind the wheel of your hypercar isn't exactly the best way to enjoy motoring life either.
Let's take the guy occupying the passenger seat of the LaFerrari in the video below, for instance. We're focusing on him since he's the owner of the 950 hp Ferrari, with the man holding the wheel being a friend.

The LaF owner inviting his friend along for a drive on the Nurburgring is the kind of action that would normally be filed under "restoring our faith in humanity," but things easily start turning dangerous when the Prancing Horse owner begins acting childish.

Sure, many of us may have played the let's-push-the-leg-of-the-slow-driver game at one point or another. But doing this at triple-digit speeds in a LaFerrari means defying the Green Hell, which is downright stupid, especially given the playful handling of the hybrid Prancing Horse.

In fact, the potentially deadly combination between such a hypercar and the 'Ring doesn't fail to punish the silly driving, with the Ferrari entering a... respectable slide despite the Manettino only being in Sport, the second most "reasonable" setting (out of five).

And this isn't the first time when the owner of this LaFerrari puts his own, as well as other people's lives at risk in the name of hooning - respecting the man's privacy, we'll stick to using his nickname, Powerslide Lover.

We feel the need to explain ourselves once again here - while seeing LaFerrari being used as Enzo would've wanted them to demands a round of applause, when you powerslide mid-traffic and almost hit another car, you're an idiot, not a cool driver.
