Novitec Gives Alfa Romeo Giulietta Some Extra Juice
text size: A- A+
Thus German tuners Novitec have given it a diet of body kits and ECU remaps. And the results show, as the little Giulietta looks a lot more aggressive and ready to take on Golfs at the stop lights.
On the outside, the natural good looks of the hatchback have been enhanced by a subtle ground effect kit that changes the look at the front and back significantly. We can’t really say that we’re big fans of the fake diffuser at the back, but a lot of hot hatches have such a feature even though it really doesn’t do much in reality.
Speaking of the back end, there’s also a new exhaust system installed. It’s got four tips and reminds us of the aftermarket modifications people used to do on the venerable 147 GTA. The juicing process is completed by the addition of alloy wheels in a gray or black finish with sizes ranging from 18-inches to 20-inches.
However, no juicing process is complete without some engine mods, and Novitec has this covered with a variety of kits for both gasoline and diesel engines. The most interesting ones are the 1.5-liter petrol that’s been bumped to 195 hp and the 1.75-liter in the QV which now pups out 261 hp instead of 235 hp.
