It appears that Nissan had something prepared for its fans and brought forth its new Sport Sedan concept, a vehicle that could actually preview the future Maxima.
This concept car, according to to Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer, “ shows a new, highly emotional and energetic design direction that takes Nissan's legendary approach of applying sports car principles to a sedan to the next level."

So, this means that we’ll be seeing a car that incorporates the proportions and design of an authentic sports car, with a floating center stack as well as a futuristic infotainment system. When it comes to power, this Sport Sedan concept has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces more than 300 hp (223 kW), the engine being connected to a sport-tuned Xtronic continuously variable transmission.

Of course, Nissan took its time on the car’s design as well and created a vehicle that not only impresses with its exterior but at he same time with a luxurious and elegant interior. Yes, it appears they have managed to obtain an interesting mix, deciding on a two-tone interior with leather seats that go perfectly with the sport steering wheel and the metallic trim.

Concerning the exterior, this particular concept car brings a futuristic vibe, having a "V-Motion" front fascia that comes with a chrome grille. This has a similar vibe to the new Rogue, Nissan's latest new car for 2014. Besides this, the “floating’ roof adds a sort of fluidity to the design,  a sleek look  that makes the Sport Sedan concept a more-than-appealing car.
