The search for a new taxi for New York City finally ended after five years of intense search. The Nissan taxi version of the NV200 is right what New Yorkers need: it’s got enough luggage cargo space, it has a transparent roof, and the passengers can charge their devices using the two USB ports or the 12 Volt outlet.

In the cabin it has germ-fighting seats and the headliner also has active carbon fiber which absorbs odors really fast. The doors slide, the rear air conditioning can be operated independently and the passenger floor area is flat to ensure the guys in the back enjoy a comfortable ride.

The New York City Taxi NV200 is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder and it ensures necessary performance combined with a good fuel efficiency. The powertrain has a warranty of 150,000 miles. The NV200 has an estimated starting price of $29,700.
