Just as predicted two weeks ago when we first saw the facelifted Nissan Micra, this lovable but strange supermini built in Asia has revealed its new self, though under the “Nissan March” name in Thailand.
The changes are most visible at the front, where a large upper grille has been introduced, with a U-shaped chrome insert that makes it look like a shrunken Pathfinder. The Micra has also shed its old bumper for a new one with large chrome surrounds for the fog lights. The headlight also got a new look, but it’s the taillight that have changed the most with the help of LED technology.

The fourth-gen Nissan Micra was unveiled in 2010 in Geneva and its refreshed version for the European market will likely bow in Frankfurt this September. Fresh color choices for the body should help it draw customers, though we’re hoping revisions to the drivetrain engine and CVT gearbox will also be made, since Nissan has always been concerned with economy above all else. For now, enjoy these photos of the new Micra which will go on sale across Europe in the coming months.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
