If you live in California, and you want to drive around in a Nissan Leaf, but you aren’t sure whether to buy one or not, you are in luck! Boardwalk Nissanm in Redwood City, California, is offering a very good lease plan for the Leaf, and it is easily the cheapest you’ll find anywhere.
This is a very good deal for those who want to experience the joy of EV motoring, without the need actually buy one. They are charging just $139 per month, for a 24-month lease plan, with a $2,995 downpayment, leaving the leaser the option of buying the car after the contract ends, for $21,813. The cheapest lease we had seen prior to this was $219 per month, so this is considerably cheaper, and a very good deal, we say.

Leaf sales are still not moving along as Nissan had hoped, but with good deals like this, perhaps it will be able to turn the tides against the more appealing Chevy Volt, which some people undoubtedly bought, despite wanting the Leaf, opting for the Volt instead because of the range extender and ‘range anxiety’-free motoring.
