Nissan GT-R Wagon Rendered, Would Make For an Awesome Ferrari GTC4Lusso "Rival"

Yes, what we're trying to say in the title above is that a Nissan GT-R wagon would make full sense.
This isn't even the first time when we make such claims. In fact, it was back in 2014 that we told you Nissan should turn the GT-R into a sub-brand. If such a move would be done while maintaining the go-fast credentials associated with the badge, and not just for marketing purposes, the resulting line-up would proper the Japanese automaker to new heights.

Returning to the story we're bringing you today, we're dealing with an R35 GT-R Wagon rendering. Delivered by digital artist Yasid Design, this pixel rearrangement is nothing short of stunning.

As for the car itself, such a vehicle would allow Nissan to offer a considerably more affordable alternative to the Ferrari GTC4Lusso. And given the tame everyday driver character Godzilla has, the JDM machine would also be more practical than the Maranello one.

Oh, and let's not forget that, unlike the Prancing Horse, Nissan wouldn't have to refrain itself from adding a pair of doors to keep purists from being offended and the brand image from suffering.

Given the fact that the next generation of the GT-R is just around the corner, we hope somebody over at Nissan seriously considers such a possibility. As for the always-delicate SUV matter, the wagon mentioned here could simply be given a lifting treatment, so nobody could accuse the automaker of misusing the badge - if fast enough, such a contraption could even qualify for our jporstscar (jacked-up sportscar) label.

And to give you an idea of how a real world version of such a wagon could look like, we've brought along the video below. The clip covers one of the craziest builds of the moment, namely the Nissan Stagea Double Unicorn. Coming from Australia's now-famous Mighty Car Mods DIY show, this reveals what happens when a Nissan C34 Stagea family machine gets an R34 GT-R nose job and a turbo-fed V8. Oh, joy!
