Ex-skater and entrepreneur Nicholas Tershay, best known as Nicky Diamonds, recently put Spectra PhotoSync tint on his Rolls-Royce Wraith’s windows. Considering it’s a feature that uses the latest nano technology window film adjusts which allegedly increase solar energy rejection with up to 79%, we’re assuming the designer got his car ready for summer rides.
This fellow skater has been doing pretty well lately considering the first Diamond Supply Co. Public Skate Plaza opened two days ago in Los Angeles. It actually was quite a big deal and one cool community gesture. “We are proud to give back to skateboarding and announce the opening of the very first Diamond Supply Co. public skateboard plaza,” Nicky wrote along the pictures of the new park.
Well, now that he’s been taking care of the community it was only natural he’d also look out of himself, right? And as a man of business and great success, Nicky Diamonds can’t just travel like any other fellow skater out there, can he?
Diamonds bought the Rolls-Royce Wraith a couple a months ago and since then he’s been taken it to the shop at least once. He waited for about four months to get it and another one to customize it, but we’re happy the luxury beauty didn’t get a blue diamond wrap like most of his cars do.
As to the recent feature Nicky put on his car, we’ll have to admit it’s pretty cool. It’s reportedly the most advanced technology in automotive window film that utilizes nano technology. Once put on the windows, it adjusts solar energy rejecting properties based on solar intensity. The ground-breaking of the PhotoSync technology lies in the integration of two key features, the Solar Adaptive Nano Coating and Infrared Rays Coating Integration.
In other words, when Nicky will be driving his murdered-out Wraith in the sunny streets of L.A. light will come in, but UVs will stay out, which means solar energy rejection while retaining an impressively light and clear shade. Factor in the laminated windows of his Roller and you end up with a cool result.
