Nick Bollea Gets out Early for Good Behavior
Last year, Nick took out his pimped Toyota and went drag racing on public streets which is not only something we don't condone, but also something we discourage. It seems Nick had the car to drag, had the guts, but what he lacked was the capacity to drive that vehicle at high speeds.
His race ended violently when he crashed into a palm tree, causing severe injuries to the passenger sitting in the right seat, which was his long-time friend John Graziano. Following the crash, John was left in a vegetative state due to the injuries to his head.
Back then, there was a lot of speculation of whether Nick was responsible and as a consequence should go to jail. After a couple of months after the incident, Nick found out that he couldn't escape the long arm of the law and was sentenced to 8 months behind bars.
Today, Nick got out after spending exactly 166 days in Pinellas County Jail much to the joy of his sister Brooke, who had written some nice words of wisdom on her MySpace. The welcoming gang should have been bigger, but the Bollea family has been having some issues lately, as the Hulk has divorced his wife, leading to the failure of Brooke's musical career.
Nick only served the 166 days out of the whole eight months because of his good behavior. He had pleaded guilty to the reckless driving charges involving serious bodily injury back in May. In case you're wondering about John Graziano's state of health, he's still in intensive care, and is looking to be that way for the rest of his life.
This while Nick is free to go home after 166 days in the pokey. It's all part of his racer days. And to think that he's just turned 18 ...
