Newly-Opened Indian Store in Sturgis Is Brand's Best-Performing Dealer

With an activity which spans only across a couple of months, the newest Indian Motorcycle dealership in Sturgis has already become the strongest seller in the US. The Lazelle Street store was the strongest seller of Indian motorcycles in the month of July, and shows signs of retaining the position for August, as well, dealernews reports.

The sales are obviously boosted by the massive flow of motorcycle riders and enthusiasts gathered for the 2014 annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. According to Polaris Industries CEO Scott Wine, the Sturgis dealership sold 6 bikes on 2 August alone, the rally’s kickoff day, proving that the recipe owner Bruce Eide followed is a truly successful one. A huge number of visitors have been present in Sturgis for the introduction of the all-new 2015 Indian Scout and it looks like some of them did not leave empty-handed.

"Indian Motorcycle Sturgis was the No. 1 volume sales store for July in the dealer network in the country. It will be again in August and will be forever more. It will be the largest Indian store in the country from here on out," Bruce Eide declared, adding: “It's just a wonderful relationship and we couldn't be happier. Indian was the first bike here and we feel this is our rightful place. Here. Now.”

To make things clear that business is booming in Sturgis, Eide also revealed that he has serious plans to actually double the size of the dealership to meet the increasing demands of his customers and Sturgis visitors, adding that “people want to purchase an Indian Motorcycle in legendary Sturgis.”

In Sturgis, Indian Motorcycles has introduced their latest bike model, the 2015 Scout, and all-new roadster powered by the first-ever liquid-cooled engine. Follow this link for more tech details on the reborn Scout, and this one for an ample high-resolution photo gallery of the 2015 Indian Scout.

Indian industrial engineer designer Rich Christoph had the privilege to ride the Scout to the official unveiling event last Saturday.
