Because it's a small city runabout with non-turbo petrol engines and some economical diesels, few people have tried to tune one. However, the Germans at Musketier have done wonders for the street appeal of the car, and they did it using parts that get a TÜV certificate.

The first thin you'll need to know is that this car is a boring little 1.4 D-4D version of the Yaris. Yes, it's a diesel, which leaves the factory with a 90 PS setup. The Germans have fitted it with a custom air filer from K&N and a hugely impressive quad exhaust system, but it's never been dyno-tested. It's safe to say it probably makes over 100 PS and sounds much better.

As far as cosmetics are concerned, the tuning company offers a bolt-on aero front spoiler, rear diffuser, a cool set of LED daytime running lights. In addition, there's a choice between seven set of alloy wheels, with sizes ranging from 15 to 18 inches, coupled with a lowering spring set that brings the Yaris 30 mm closer to the road.

The red-on-black look is completed by accents on the mirror housings, badges and grille. And there you have it, a very cool Yaris, probably the cooler out there!
